Artwork Design

Our artwork design is carried out by experienced graphic designers using industry standard products such as Adobe Photoshop and QuarkExpress.

We can base our designs on client-supplied items (eg session photos or concert programmes etc) or alternatively, develop entirely new artwork. This has often included specially commissioned photography of artists or recording sessions.

As can be seen from the examples below, our artwork has varied widely from the traditional CD cover through to more unusual designs, depending upon the repertoire and the clients wishes.

We can carry out all aspects of reprographics including high resolution drum scanning, chromalin or matchprint proofing, through to final artwork in either digital print or film formats.

Our CD booklets are typically 12 to 32 pages with full colour on the outer pages and monochrome inner pages.

Our CDs include transparent liner trays, which allows full colour printing on both sides of the tray-card. Our CD labels can be anything from monochrome line art through to full colour picture discs.

For CDRs, we can either use thermal printing directly onto the disc, or alternatively use paper labels which can be laser printed as desired.

For a non-technical guide to making recordings, see our recording guide.
