Manufacture

We provide a complete manufacturing and printing service for discs that we have either recorded or mastered.

Typically, disc runs above 300 units are commercially pressed and any runs below 300 units are replicated using the CDR process.

We use a range of high quality pressing plants and printing works throughout Europe and this allows us to match client timescales and budgets with plant capacity.

Whilst the standard CD jewel case is still the most popular format with clients, we can also produce CDs in numerous other packages, including digipacks and transparent or cardboard wallets, and also on foam tabs with printed card backing.

These variations have proved particularly popular for marketing mailshots where it is important to grab the attention of the recipient and also minimise packaging and mailing costs.

Distribution

Many of our recordings are commissioned by other record labels, broadcasters or by the artists themselves and the distribution arrangements are typically made by the client. Such arrangements could be worldwide CD release or simply private sale at concerts etc.

Opera Omnia also distributes recordings on the Opera Omnia label through a number of independent distributors.

As all of our recordings are made to fully professional standards, we have also successfully turned what started out as private recordings into commercial releases, on both the Opera Omnia and other labels. One example of this is the disc of Georg Schumann Choral Music originally commissioned by The Purcell Singers and now released worldwide to critical acclaim by ASV Ltd.
