Patrick Allen
Patrick Allen read Electroacoustics at the University of Salford and trained with BBC TV and Radio. He has over 20 years experience of professional music recording and production.
Patrick founded Opera Omnia in 1994 and is involved with all of our recordings. He enjoys working with a wide range of musicians at all stages of their careers, from youth or amateur performers through to internationally renowned artists.
His role on location varies depending upon the project. For straightforward recordings he often has the joint role of producer and engineer, but for more complex recordings he will either take on the role of producer or engineer.
Patrick is also a prize-winning photographer and composer and has scored film and theatre productions, including the UK premiere of Arthur Miller's "Two Way Mirror". He has played keyboards in a number of bands over the years and regularly plays live in London and the South East.
Patrick has been engaged since 1996 as a consultant to Hazard Chase Ltd who are one of Europe's leading artist management companies, and is a partner in the joint venture company Hazard Chase Productions. He has recently joined Orchid Music Group as a director.
Patrick is married with two daughters and lives in Bedfordshire.
